Dear Colleague, Attached you will find the latest agenda for the AIRS Workshop. Please note that a continental breakfast will be provided on the first day starting at 08:30am. Lunch is also being provided by MSC on the first day. On the second day, we can only provide for coffee breaks. The AIRA Working Group will meet on Tuesday afternoon in the Howland Room. The AIRS Workshop will continue with discussions regarding the organization of AIRS II during Tuesday afternoon. This session will be co-chaired by Marcia Politovich and Dave Hudak. For the presentations at the AIRS Workshop, we will provide an overhead projector, as well as a computer projector and laptop. If you are presenting a Powerpoint presentation, it might be best to bring it on a disk or CD in order to avoid problems of connecting various laptops. The computer projector is required for the AIRA Working Group meeting on Tuesday afternoon, so I hope that it will not be required for the open discussion on AIRS II. Dear Colleague, I have attached the latest Program for the Workshop on 25-26 June in Toronto. If I have made any errors, let me know. I still need the title and/or abstracts for some of the talks. Please provide them if they are indicated as missing. I want to hand out a list of abstracts and titles at the meeting. Due to the addition of talks, we lost the discussion period at the end of Monday. So I propose that we have an open discussion Tuesday afternoon on what will be required for AIRS II. I hope that we can get several people to co-chair that session, as well as a secretary. I will not be able to attend that meeting, because the AIRA Working Group must meet that afternoon. However, I am sure that some of you would be quite willing to chair such an important session. I will be contacting some candidates shortly. This is just too good an opportunity to explore the problems. I wanted to alert you to the extension of the meeting into Tuesday afternoon. Let me know if you cannot attend. Once again, if you are planning to attend and you are not on the list attached to the Program, let me know as soon as possible. Regards…George ____________________________ |
